1993-1999: The early years of our ministry

  • May 31, 1993
  • Newlyweds and on our way to Ukraine, friends jokingly called us “Kamikazes for Christ”.
  • And so it began, culture shock hit hard!
  • The first baptism and converts, in a local watering hole.
  • “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.” John 3:5
  • Our family grew with Joshua and Miriam.
  • Our first Sunday School group
  • Our mens group
  • The second baptismal service, what a blessing to see the Body of Christ grow!
  • What a blessing to see the body of Christ grow!
  • The Bible Baptist Church of Razdelnaya!

2000- 2005, the work continues

  • We went back in 2001 for our first furlough and during that time Benjamin was born. Sadly we have very few pictures from this time because they were lost during travel.
  • During this time frame, our charter church was founded.
  • Our sunday school group developed and grew.
