Dear Praying Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you well in the Lord Jesus and rejoicing in His word, fellowship, and salvation! We want to thank each and every one of our supporting churches and individuals for all your prayers, care, and support of us and the ministry the Lord has given us in Ukraine. My children who are still with us also send their sincere gratitude for the extra Christmas gifts given during the holiday season.

As I mentioned in our last letter, we had to return to the USA to get Michael’s birth certificate authenticated and apply for his visa at the Embassy of Ukraine in Washington D.C. We were able to collect all the documents necessary for the interview and application. We applied on 12/03/2025 and all of our documents were received, which is a good thing, because it means that we met all requirements to begin processing his application. There was only one little hitch involving medical insurance that I was able to provide them via e-mail. We received notification that Michael’s visa officially began processing on 12/10/2025. Now we wait to hear from them. As of 12/31/2025 we are still waiting for final approval. Please continue to pray. I will book our return flights to Ukraine as soon as we receive his visa and passport. Lord willing, I’ll have a set date for our return flight to announce in our next letter.

While at the Embassy of Ukraine I met two men with whom I could trade contact information with hopes of mutually helping each other in the future. One of them was a journalist who asked to interview me about our work in Ukraine. I agreed to do the interview which lasted over an hour. We will see what the Lord will do with it.

The Lord has graciously allowed me to preach every week in different churches since our return. I like to stay busy for the Lord and rejoice that He continues to give fruit in the form of souls saved and saints edified. To the Lord Jesus be all glory!

Please pray for Naomi who is experiencing a lot of neck pain after picking up heavy things while settling into our home in Ukraine. We are planning to get an MRI while we are here in the USA.

We also want to thank all of you who prayed and helped us with our home repairs. We are so thankful that the crucial work of bolstering up our foundation is done. We held our breath and prayed that nothing would go wrong while the foundation was dug up. The repairs are coming along well but slow. We are still praying about our ministry’s direction in the near and far future while the war continues. There are several open doors, one being continuing the work in eastern Ukraine. Please pray for God’s wisdom, counsel, and confirmation. May the Lord bless you as you as you bring in the New Year.

 That Ukraine May Know Him,

Christopher Rue
